When you think about it, the science of flight is literally and figuratively over our heads. It is hard to explain! But one of its many aspects, aerospace crafting, works to reliably give us the gift of flight pretty much whenever we want it, allowing us to travel quickly and safely wherever we want, even in space (well, more or less). So next time you’re sitting in an airport, thinking to yourself “What the hell is taking so long ?!” think about how much it ends up on the plane you will (hopefully) board and maybe even marvel at how amazing it is that you can sit back, read a book and fly.
